Try to shoot in 1280x720 next time.
After that, convert it with SUPER to 640x480, .flv,30fps,2000 bitrate , audio : 192kbps and 44 kh/z.

Why ? 640x480 is the TMtube resolution, but the 1280x720 (HD) in trackmania shows your more detail (the higher the resolution, the more you see on the screen).

Also 1024*768 is also good :D, if you want HD capture files then use 720p (1280x720). Together with that .flv file and you have tha quality for tmtube ! :D (check out my Rob : Leave it behind in my videos :D)
